The epicenter of the quake occurred in the most densely populated region of the country, the capital, Port-au-Prince. In the wake of this disaster, more than 100,000 are presumed dead and total economic damage may top $1 billion. These people need our help. On February 27, we’ll start our bar hop in the Highland’s at 2pm sharp. Beginning at Moe’s & Joe’s, we will relocate to a new bar every hour, on the hour, until we wrap things up at Blind Willie’s. All participating bars along the way are excited about contributing to our cause and have drink specials for participants. Please click the “JOIN NOW” link on the right side of this page to get involved. There will be two donation options for the event with ALL proceeds going to the American Red Cross. For as little as $10 you can purchase a wristband and join the fun. For $20, you’ll receive a wristband and a great looking “Hoppin for Haiti” t-shirt.
